The Luminar Floor Audit is the easiest way to put a senior EWM practitioner inside your operation without a project. We come for the day, walk the floor with your team, watch the RF in operators' hands, and write up what we saw. You get a findings memo inside five working days. There is no proposal at the back of it.

Findings memo · inside 5 working days
The findings memo is between eight and twelve pages, written in plain language, intended to be read by the operations lead, the supply chain executive, and the IT sponsor in the same meeting. It is structured the way a senior practitioner would present a verbal read-out, with quantified observations where we can quantify them and explicit uncertainty where we cannot.
It is not a proposal. It is not a Luminar pitch document. If some of the findings warrant follow-on work, we will say so inside the memo and you can take that work to us, your existing integrator, or anyone else. If the answers are obvious enough that you can run them inside your own team, the memo will say that too.
No procurement form needed up front. We will send an NDA if you prefer one. The whole engagement is designed to put a senior voice on your floor with as little friction as possible.
Four fields. Name, company, role, where you are in the cycle. You can add a line on what is sliding. We reply from a real person inside one working day.
TodayWe come back with two or three date options inside a fortnight. You confirm one. The senior consultant who will run the audit is named in writing before the day is locked.
Inside week 1One full shift cycle on site if we can get it. Morning briefing, midday floor walk with two or three operators, afternoon read-out with the executive sponsor. No proposal pitched in the room.
Inside week 3Plain-language findings memo lands within five working days of the audit. One follow-up call included. After that, you decide what happens next, with us or without us.
By end of week 4On site or remote walkthrough
One senior consultant, on your floor, for a full shift cycle if we can get it. We are not interested in the demo warehouse. We want the actual aisle, the actual operator, the actual RF screen on a real shift. Below is the cadence we normally run.
Briefing with the operations lead and the EWM sponsor. We map the rollout as it was designed: zoning, RF flow, putaway rules, picking strategy, master data ownership, hypercare state, where the integrator is currently sitting. We name the two or three KPIs you are being held accountable to and we will benchmark against.
We walk with two or three operators across goods receipt, putaway, picking and shipping. We watch the RF in their hands. We count taps where it matters. We watch exceptions being handled or skipped. We do not interrupt. If we have questions, we hold them for the read-out.
A 30 to 45 minute live read-out with the people who were on the floor with us and the executive sponsor. We name the two or three things we would fix first if it were our P&L, and we name the things we are still unsure about.
The written findings memo lands in your inbox. We are available for one follow-up call if the team has questions on the document. After that, you decide what happens next, with us or without us.
There isn't one. The complimentary day is how we introduce the practice without forcing a buyer to commit to a project on the strength of a slide deck. Most weeks, the memo either points to work we are well placed to do or to work better handled elsewhere. We are comfortable with both outcomes.
No. The read-out names what we would fix first, in plain language. The memo does the same in writing. If follow-on work would help, the memo will say so and you can take it to us, to your existing integrator, or to anyone else. We do not attach a proposal to the audit deliverable.
The memo is written to be read by the operations lead, the supply chain executive, and the IT sponsor in the same meeting. It does not require a translator. You decide who receives it; we send it to whichever email addresses you nominate at booking.
We will sign your standard mutual NDA before the audit if you prefer one. We can also provide ours. We do not extract master data, ticket logs, or financials from your environment; the audit is observational and the memo is written from notes taken on the day.
It is not too early. Pre-RFP audits are some of the most valuable, because we can identify the readiness gaps and the template-vs-floor mismatches before the integrator is selected. The memo becomes input to your RFP rather than rework against a live rollout.
We are happy to publish indicative engagement bands so serious enquiries can self-qualify. Final scope and price are always outcome-led; the bands below are typical ranges, not quotes.
One day on site or remote. Senior consultant. Findings memo inside five working days. No proposal attached.
A targeted stabilisation sprint, a defined optimisation backlog, or a discrete EWM stream inside a wider rollout. Typically four to twelve weeks of senior consultant time.
Senior consultant as the EWM stream lead across the full rollout, from build through go-live and hypercare. Engaged alongside an integrator or as the EWM specialist of record.
EWM is live or about to be
The Floor Audit is built for one specific buyer: the supply chain or operations executive who suspects the EWM outcome is sliding, and wants a second opinion from a practitioner who does not have a project on the line.
We typically run the Floor Audit inside four weeks of first contact. Four fields, no procurement form. We will send an NDA if you would like one.
