The context.

A global SAP EWM template, already proven elsewhere, had to land across ten warehouses in one APAC market. The risk on a rollout of this shape is rarely the core design. It is the gap between a template signed off in head office and ten floors that were each set up, staffed and run differently.

The approach.

A rollout is a different engagement to a first implementation. The hard design work is largely done, so the job is not to rebuild the system, it is to fit a proven template to the reality of each operation. That makes the work condensed and site-led: the template is the constant, and each warehouse is taken to go-live in a phased sequence rather than a single big-bang across the network.

On every site the same discipline applies. Map how the floor actually runs, find where the template and the operation disagree, and make a deliberate call on whether the system bends or the floor is retrained, before go-live rather than during hypercare.
